Kong's NZ Limited was established in New Zealand in August 1996 by the current General Manager, Paula Clarke, who previously worked in the Australian Pet Industry.
The business began from Paula's home and the challenge to build a successful business progressed rapidly as the New Zealand Pet Industry quickly responded to the innovative and exciting products being offered. The continued growth necessitated the business to be relocated into commercial premises in Tauranga.
Paula was initially the sole employee, with great support from Davy Kong, it is with great pride that she now has a team of more than 20 staff. After 13 years with Kong's New Zealand, Paula still enjoys the daily challenges of being part of an exciting and competitive industry.
Tracey Burgess is Kong's (NZ) Limited Business Development Manager.
Tracey was born and educated in Tauranga and started with Kong's in 2001.
Initially employed as an Office Junior, Tracey learned all aspects of office administration and was appointed as Office Manager in 2005 and then promoted to Business Development Manager in 2009.
Having now been with Kong's (NZ) Limited for more than eight years, Tracey has become an integral part of the business and enjoys facing the many challenges that come her way.
Debbie Mills is Kong's (NZ) Limited Credit Controller.
Debbie started her professional career as a school teacher. After teaching for a number of years Debbie decided on a change of career and moved into Administration and Finance.
Debbie has worked for a diverse range of companies holding various positions from PA, Office Manager, to her current position of Credit Controller at Kong's.
Debbie joined Kong's in 2006 and has implemented a range of new initiatives which have assisted in helping Kong's NZ keep ahead of changing legislation.

The Kong's sales team are devoted to listening to the needs of the market and provide feedback to the company to address these needs.
Kong's (NZ) Limited warehousing staff are in constant contact with Kong's customer service people which allows them to solve problems as they arise.
